Tiny Little Office
Points and comments are a snapshot, not live.
Tiny Little Office stores documents entirely in the URL for sharing without a backend.
Tiny Little Office is a free, browser-based office suite where each document (word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, calendar, etc.) is serialized into the URL itself. Users can create, edit, and share documents by simply sending the link. The site provides templates for each tool, including an outliner, calculator, drawing tool, diagram maker, animator, and trip planner. The entire application is open source, and the URL approach limits document size to browser URL constraints (2048 KiB in Chrome, 64 KiB in Firefox).
What commenters are saying
Commenters appreciated the concept but flagged key limitations. The URL-only storage means no file import or save-to-disk, and browser URL size caps (2048 KiB Chrome, 64 KiB Firefox) restrict document size. OpenStreetMap blocks the site for excessive tile requests. Several alternatives were noted: bento.page for self-contained presentations, singlebook for documents, and simonwillison.net's LaTeX-in-URL tool. One commenter showed how to generate documents via Claude by feeding it the site's /llms.txt. A PR offer for WebRTC-based live collaboration appeared but drew no response.
