The creator of Jujutsu has joined ERSC

Jujutsu creator Martin von Zweigbergk becomes CTO of East River Source Control.
East River Source Control (ERSC) appointed Martin von Zweigbergk, creator of the Jujutsu version control system, as CTO. von Zweigbergk started Jujutsu as a side project in late 2019 and developed it at Google; the project has over 30,000 GitHub stars and is Apache 2.0 licensed. He previously worked on Fig for Google's monorepo and contributed to Git. ERSC is building next-generation version control platforms for enterprises facing scaling limits with Git, especially due to AI changes. ERSC Storage enters private beta later this month. von Zweigbergk will remain a core Jujutsu maintainer.
