Fleeting plays plausible fake meeting audio to deter interruptions.

Fleeting offers recordings of made-up meetings, each about 12 minutes long, that start at a random point to avoid obvious looping. Users can pick an accent (British, American, International) and enable back-to-back meetings to simulate joining consecutive calls. The site also lets users block their calendar with a fake meeting invite that links back to Fleeting. All voices are synthetic, faces AI-generated or stock footage, and names invented except for creator John Carroll. The call goes full screen on desktop (press F to toggle) and on mobile via "Add to Home Screen."

The site includes an option to advertise products within these fake meetings.

What commenters are saying

Many commenters reported that only the British audio works; American and International meetings show a "Join Audio" button that does nothing, with console errors about missing or unsuitable audio resources. Some found the AI voices unconvincing and uncanny, while others argued laypeople would be fooled. Several commenters noted the concept recalls old "boss key" features in games. One commenter observed that playing meeting audio would be too distracting to get actual work done. Another mentioned the site was already blocked by their corporate IT.
