RustDesk announced a preview build for x86_64 Debian/Ubuntu systems that enables unattended remote access on Wayland, including from the login screen after reboot. Multi-monitor setups are supported. This addresses a gap where competitors like AnyDesk require Xorg and TeamViewer calls Wayland support experimental.
RustDesk plans to bring the feature to Fedora and Arch Linux and eventually make it the default once stable. The preview build is available as a separate download.
