OpenLogi
Points and comments are a snapshot, not live.
OpenLogi is a local-first, open-source alternative to Logitech Options+ for remapping mice over HID++.
Written in Rust, OpenLogi remaps buttons, controls DPI, and manages SmartShift over HID++ 2.0 without an account or telemetry. Bindings are stored in a plain TOML file. It supports Bolt, Unifying, Lightspeed, Bluetooth, and wired connections. Available for macOS, Linux, and Windows. The developer plans per-app profiles and Logitech Flow support in future releases. Users must quit Logitech Options+ or Solaar before launching due to HID++ access conflicts.
What commenters are saying
Commenters praise the project's local-first approach but criticize the LLM-generated website copy, calling it hollow and a sign of low effort. Several recommend Solaar for Linux and Steermouse for macOS as mature alternatives. One notes Logitech's offline Options+ installer is 1.2 GB, while OpenLogi's is 15.3 MB. A commenter flags that Logitech's Onboard Memory Manager only works with G-series gaming devices, not the MX line.
