Nitter and XCancel have received cease and desist letters from X Corp, taking down public instances.
All public Nitter instances display a "rate limited" error after X Corp sent cease and desist letters to Nitter's maintainer, zedeus, demanding permanent takedown of nitter.net and the GitHub repository, deletion of all X data and credentials, and cessation of X mark usage, citing breach of ToS, the Texas Harmful Access by Computer Act, and the Lanham Act.
