Mozilla introduces a built-in ad blocker for Firefox on iOS, off by default.
Firefox on iOS now includes an optional ad blocker using Apple's WebKit Content Blocker technology and the EasyList filter list. It blocks many third-party ads and trackers before they load. The feature is off by default and can be enabled in Settings > Browsing > Ad Blocker. It does not block ads served directly by sites, search result ads, or sponsored content on new tabs. Mozilla built it directly into the browser because iOS does not support extensions like Android and Desktop. It works alongside existing Enhanced Tracking Protection.
