Google agreed to pay SpaceX $920 million per month from October 2026 through June 2029 for access to approximately 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs and related components. The deal is Google's second major compute arrangement with SpaceX, following Anthropic's $1.25 billion monthly agreement announced in May for roughly double the GPU capacity. Google attributed the deal to unexpected demand for its Gemini Enterprise agent platform, despite already being the world's largest single owner of AI compute. The contract includes a 90-day termination clause after December 31, 2026, and ramps up through September at reduced fees. SpaceX announced the deal one week before its IPO, targeting a $1.75 trillion valuation. Google, a longtime SpaceX investor, stands to gain over $100 billion from the IPO and is reportedly exploring orbital data centers with SpaceX.
