In Milton, Georgia, Flock Safety technician called 911 on InvestigateTV reporter Brendan Keefe for filming a public camera installation. Police stopped Keefe but released him after 17 minutes, acknowledging no laws were broken. A similar incident occurred in June when Flock employees called police on YouTube creators filming outside a distribution center. Flock claims it does not object to public photography but says employees may contact police if they feel threatened. The company faces growing backlash over its license plate readers, with some communities cancelling contracts.
