Blackmagic Design announced DaVinci Resolve 21.1 at IBC 2026. The update integrates AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT Codex for tasks such as organizing media, batch rendering, and creating highlight edits from long-form video. The photo page adds native support for Fujifilm GFX and X series, Leica SL, and Sony A7R V1 cameras. Multi-cam workflows are enhanced with timecode gap splitting and support for up to 25 angles. The color page adds individual trim passes for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid. Over 25 new Krokodove tools expand the Fusion 3D toolkit. The update is free for download.
